Rugged Outdoor Protection

 

The 2ICE Cabinet is constructed using high-quality metallic or non-metallic materials. It is designed to withstand harsh environmental conditions and meets IP55 standards for dust and water protection. Its compact, box-style structure supports fast installation and secure field deployment — also making it a great companion to Server Rack Cabinet solutions located indoors.

Flexible Design & Sizing Options


The 2ICE Cabinet comes in multiple sizes to suit different needs:


● RU Options: 23RU, 38RU, 48RU

● Depths:  34" or 48"

● Width: 60" or 69"

● Color: Grey or Off-White


This single-bay cabinet supports up to two strings of 210Ah batteries, delivering up to 840Ah of backup capacity. Power and battery systems are efficiently organized in under 10 RU of rack space per bay — consistent with the layout used in the Data Center Rack DT Iceberg Cabinet and Data Center Rack DT Small Iceberg Cabinet.

Power System Integration

 

The cabinet supports both AC and DC power systems. Customers can specify brands like Eltek, Alpha, or NewMar. Power systems are installed per NEC guidelines. They can be configured up to 200A in 2 RU of space.


Additional electrical features include:


● Electrical Disconnect & Breaker Panels:  Installed externally. Compatible with Square D, GE, Eaton, or Siemens panels (100A–400A).


● Optional Surge Arresters: Installed below the disconnect. These protect against voltage spikes.


● Generator Plug: Standard 50A included. Other types are available upon request.

 

Thermal Management

 

The 2ICE Cabinet protects internal equipment from overheating. It uses top-tier cooling systems:


● HVAC Units: From Dantherm. Available in AC or DC. Cooling capacity ranges from 2,000 to 14,000 BTU. These are installed on the back door of each cabinet bay.


● Heat Exchanger Fans: Also available in AC or DC. These fans improve airflow and help regulate internal temperature.

 

Communication & Transmission Support

 

The cabinet is ideal for various telecom setups. It offers space and support for:


● Microwave and Radio Equipment

● AC & DC Modules

● Fiber Equipment: Supports transceivers, patch panels, and splitters. Ensures high-speed data transmission.

● Radio Units & BBUs: Compatible with 3G, 4G, and 5G systems.

● Breaker Rail: Installed in the upper-right corner. Power the equipment on the right side.

Security and organization are built into every cabinet:


● 3-Point Anti-Theft Latching System

● Padlock-Ready Handles for extra protection

● Grounding Busbars: Installed at the base by default. Can be placed elsewhere per request.
